Lot of 9: 1) fold-up mine candle lantern. "The Stonebridge Folding Lantern" is embossed on the A-shaped lid, from New York City. Galvanized metal and brass construction, with glass panels, reputed to be liquid-tight for wet mines, and impervious to sudden mine winds. 2) A 2-pound can of miner`s lamp Calcium Carbide, from the Union Carbide & Carbon Corp. 3) "Proctor Lamp & Lighting Co. Ltd." mining lamp, type M.C. 40. Heavy bronze and chrome-plated construction, with heavy tempered glass lens around the fuel oil wick device. 8.5" x 3" dia. 4) Compact "Auto Lite" oil lamp with reflector, by the Universal Lamp Co. Of Chicago, IL. Reflector has igniter device built-in. 5) Two miniature oil cans 2.75" x 1.5" dia. 6) Spray Canister, all metal construction, 8" x 4" dia. at center joint. Unit has metal hanger with screw-tension swing frame. 7) All metal Miner`s spring candle holder, 17" x 5.5" high, placement spikes at top and end. 8 & 9) Miner`s canvas hat with metal bracket attached to cap front, to which a brass & metal reflector oil lamp clips on. - Maish Collection
